Spring 2012 Mercy College Registration
Dear Parent/Guardian and Student:
Registration for spring semester Mercy College courses is now underway. The agreement between Mercy College (Dobbs Ferry, New York) and Newburgh Free Academy affords students in selected Advanced Placement (AP) courses the opportunity to earn college credits at a reduced cost. Many colleges and universities accept these credits for advanced standing, to pursue more challenging courses, or to reduce the semester’s course load.
Students interested in earning credits through Mercy College must sign up by Friday, February 10th. Registration forms can be obtained in each House Guidance Office. The cost of tuition is $50 per credit. Checks or money orders should be made payable to: Mercy College (please include the student’s name and social security number in the memo portion of the check or money order). Return completed registration applications and non-refundable payment to Mrs. Caswell in the Humanities Guidance Office at the Main Campus or Mrs. Rockafellow at the North Campus. Please contact your School Counselor if you have any questions.
